Aaron Lennie Murray Jr., 85, of Galax, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Waddell Nursing Home. He was born Sept. 8, 1924 in Grayson County to Aaron Lennie and Leonna Cox Murray. He is survived by his son, Joseph A. Murray. The funeral service was held Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Pierce and Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial followed in the Hardin Cox Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. A guestbook is available at www.vaughanguynn.com. Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
