“We’re very excited that we’re going to give people the opportunity to play Olde Mill for less than they would normally be able to play it,” said Rotary Club President Brad Dalton.
The Rotary Club is holding its inaugural golf tournament on Friday, April 23. Dalton said the Club hopes to make it a yearly happening.
“This is our first tournament; we’re going to make it an annual affair,” Dalton said.
The cost to play is $60 for individuals and $240 for teams if they register by April 9. Registering after that date bumps the price to $65 for individuals and $250 per team. The entry fee includes the round of golf plus lunch prepared by Niblick’s restaurant and refreshments. There are also hole sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $100 to $750. Dalton said all of the proceeds will be used to help others.
“All proceeds are going to benefit the Rotary Club’s charitable endeavors,” Dalton said. “One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the charity with no administrative costs.”
The tournament is a captain’s choice round of golf from tee to hole, as well as closest to the pin and best drive competitions.
