Gladys Ellen Sutphin, 97, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at Trinity Mission in Hillsville. She was preceded in death by her parents Posey & Typanis Thompson Sutphin. She is survived by special friends Glenn & Avenelle Jackson, Keith Allen Jackson, and special friends at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder S.G. Bolt officiating. Burial followed in the Buffalo Mountain Cemetery.
