Esthel Lee Reynolds Padgett, 88, of Barren Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mrs. Padgett was born in Wythe County to the late Thomas Jefferson and Dora Alderman Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clarence Padgett. Survivors include her children, Connie Wayne Padgett of Lambsburg, Clarence Jackson Padgett of Barren Springs, Mary Talbert of Barren Springs, Josiah Thomas Padgett of Amelia, Martin Anthony (Tony) Padgett of Barren Springs, and Bruce Kelly Padgett of Barren Springs; sister, Dorothy Sayers of Amelia; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Glenwood United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Mr. Robin Quesinberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.
