Brandon, Cindy, Sarah and Brad Alderman of Hillsville traveled to Lebanon, KY. for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Marion County Heritage Center on Feb. 10. It is now a museum on the history of Marion County. But the reason for the trip was to meet Ernie Brown, Jr., aka Turtle Man! Turtle Man is Sarah’s hero! She never misses Call of the Wildman on Animal Planet. The trip was 363 miles and the family arrived at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. Invitation Only was from 1-3 p.m., and general public at 3 p.m. Cindy was first in line for the general public, but when Turtle Man heard the family came all the way from Virginia, he invited the family in at noon. “He’s awesome,” Sarah said. And Sarah has never been happier!
