According to the Town of Hillsville, Appalachian Power will be shutting off power throughout the Town of Hillsville beginning at 1 p.m. today for emergency repairs on Edgewood Drive. Representatives with the Town said the company hopes to have power restored within a couple of hours of the planned outage.
