Lining up for the parade will begin a 3 p.m. on Edgewood Drive. The lighting of the town’s Christmas tree at the old courthouse will take place following the parade. During the parade, raffle tickets will be handed out for a drawing at the tree lighting. One person attending the tree lighting will win a $150 gift certificate. Mayor Greg Crowder, who donated $100 toward the raffle, said, “I want to get as many people at the tree lighting as possible.” Councilman David Young donated $50 toward the raffle.
