Christopher Scott Linville of Hillsville has pleaded guilty to three counts of forcible sodomy and two counts of object sexual penetration in Carroll County Circuit Court.
Carroll County Commonwealth’s Attorney Nathan H. Lyons said Linville pled guilty on May 23 and was sentenced to serve 225 years in the Virginia Department of Corrections. After serving 12 years, Linville will have the remainder of his sentence suspended and he will be placed on active supervised probation for 20 years. Linville will also have to register as a violent sex offender with the Virginia State Police.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department investigated this case.
