James David Lovill, 59, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Lovill was born in Carroll County to the late Conley and Dorothy Ogle Lovill. He is survived by his two daughters, Amy Blackwell of Norfolk and Jamie Bells Flower of Lenoir, NC; sisters, Margaret Ayers of Fancy Gap, Esther Haynes of Cana, and Rhonda Smith of Galax; several nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial followed in the family cemetery.
