Ilene Smythers Harmon, 92, of Hillsville, passed away on May 30, 2008. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Douglas Fields of Woodlawn, Brenda and George Rohe of Charlotte, NC, and Nancy H. Petersen of Knoxville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Dyer and Madalene Smythers of Woodlawn; sister-in-law, Goldie Harmon of Woodlawn; granddaughters and spouses, Anna Cormier of Knoxville, TN, Allison and Lee Waters of Bossier, LA, Sara and Alwyn Staley of Knoxville, TN, Laura and David Moody of Charlotte, NC; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel. Burial followed in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery.
