James E. Hunley, 62, of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his home. He was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Everett Clifton and Carrie Estelle Firbaugh Hunley. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter Shelia Hunley and a brother Douglas Hunley. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Diane Hunley of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and David Roscoe of Dugspur, Amanda and Michael Walker of Hillsville, Vicky Hunley of Hillsville, and Lori Hunley of Hillsville; son, Bradley Hunley of Hillsville; siblings and their spouses, Robert and Bonnie Hunley of Oklahoma, Sherry and John Williams of Hillsville, Pat and Russell Dalton of Hillsville, and Kenny Hunley of Hillsville; and fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Richard Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service.
