This is a rain or shine event. Two tee times are available at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Early bird discounts are offered for teams and individuals who enter by May 1.
The captain’s choice golf tournament will offer prizes for first, second and third place winners in all three flights for both the morning and afternoon rounds. Players can also try their luck for a $10,000 cash hole-in-one prize. Closest to the pin and longest drive prizes for men and women will also be awarded on each par three hole. There is a one win per day, per person limit for all prizes. A putting contest and other games are planned for more chances to win while supporting a worthy cause.
“Kick Start Your Heart” is the theme of this year’s golf tournament fundraiser. Proceeds from the annual campaign and the golf tournament will fund the purchase defibrillator/monitor devices and other cardiac services for patients at Twin County Regional Healthcare.
Many sponsorship opportunities are available and needed including corporate, team, hospitality cart, tee and more. Specials are offered for combined sponsorships such as team and tee. Non-golfers can support the cause with an “I Don’t Golf Sponsorship” or a gift of any amount which can be mailed to: TCRH Foundation, Post Office Box 1131, Galax, Virginia 24333.
Led by a volunteer board composed of area residents, the TCRH Foundation exists to support and enhance the services of the hospital and health care services in the community.
