Artwork from students across the county is currently on display in the Carroll County Public Schools’ Art Fair.

The art fair is open to the public March 26-27 from 3:30-7 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School.

Third grader Eli Frazier, eighth grader Brooke Cockerham, and CCHS student Sarah Randall took the top honors, winning Best in Show in the Elementary, Intermediate, and Secondary divisions, respectively. Sydney Sieviec is in her first year teaching art at Carroll County Middle School. She said she has been extremely pleased with the level of artwork Carroll students have put together for the art fair.

“I have been a student entering art here for years and years. I’m very happy to see the work our art students are producing. I’m really impressed with our middle school art students and program,” Sieviec said. “It’s great to be on this side of it and see how much effort they put into it. They are so excited when they find out people are going to see their work and that they can possibly earn awards and recognition. They are thrilled.”
