Carolyn’s Restaurant, a Classic American Style Restaurant, is now open for business.
The restaurant is located on Route 221 in Hillsville at 89 Floyd Pike, beside Cavalier Express. Carolyn’s Restaurant specialties include hand-patted hamburgers and Philly cheese steaks, both made fresh daily, served with a side of house made potato wedges. Other specialty menu items include Nathan’s hot dogs, fried bologna sandwiches, and for everyone’s sweet tooth fresh made elephant ears.
Owners Forrest, Steven and Trish have over 20 years’ experience in the food and restaurant industry.
“The opening of Carolyn’s Restaurant is a culmination of two dreams,” said Steven. “My mother and I always wanted to own a restaurant but unfortunately she is no longer with us so the restaurant is named in her memory. The second part of our dream was to create a family-friendly establishment for everyone to create special memories.”
The atmosphere reminds you of days gone by with car-side and window service available.
“We want a place you can bring your family, hang out with your friends, socialize with neighbors, and create memories,” Steven said.
Carolyn’s Restaurant looks forward to being involved in the community as well as local schools. They are interested in teaming up with local organizations to bring family-oriented events to the area. Carolyn’s is looking to be community involved whenever possible for their supplies. As an example they will be using Horton’s Produce and Horton’s Grocery for meats to ensure freshness.
Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Owners Steven, Forrest, and Trish invite you to join them opening week, November 21-28, and enjoy a FREE elephant ear with every combo purchase.
