Man wanted for Hillsville stabbing captured Sunday

Raymond Allen Rosier, 29, the man wanted on charges of malicious wounding, stemming from a stabbing in the parking lot of Three Cheers on Jan. 31, was captured Sunday. According to the Hillsville Police Department, Rosier was arrested by the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop Sunday.

“Thank you to all agencies involved in the search for this wanted person! A huge thank you to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers for their hard work as well during this search,” the Hillsville Police Department said Sunday in an update on its facebook page. “Sgt. Jessica Worrell and her team were an invaluable resource to the Hillsville Police Department.”
